Located in the vicinity of the OKC Monastry on the Gandhi Road, Vantage Point Homestay is such a lovely place to stay in Darjeeling. Away from the hustle-bustle of the town, this homestay is a perfect spot to enjoy the scenic beauty of the 'Queen of Hills'. Yet it is not very far from the Mall area. Warm Hospitality, homely food are the high-points here. Hope you all will enjoy your stay here.

I and my wife visited Darjeeling last week. I searched for a comfortable hotel to stay in Darjeeling through MakeMyTrip. After researching heavily about the location, price, amenities, safety and services, I halted at the name of a homestay, 'Vantage Point'. I searched the name in Google and read the reviews posted by previous tourists. Almost everyone was praising the host Mr. Yuvraj Pradhan for his hospitality, warm behaviour and services. I booked the homestay and within half hour a call came from Yuvraj. He confirmed the booking with room conditions. When we reached the homestay, he welcomed us with smile and cordiality. We immediately felt at home when we were served two cups of warm tea at the common dining place in the cool of Darjeeling. The rooms were descent, clean. The bathrooms were clean, well equiped with geyser, commode, hand shower etc. The terrace serves a 180 degree view to watch the mesmerizing Mt. Kanchenjunga in clear weather. The homestay is in just 20 mins walking distance from Mall and Darjeeling Rail Station. The location was just fantastic, away from the loudness of the city with a calm and quiet atmosphere. The homestay serves breakfast which is included in the booking. Yuvraj is really a fantastic person. He always keeps watching if the guests feel comfortable enough and helps always in need. Not only Yuvraj, the whole family is very gentle. We had a memorable stay there. We reached home, but keep missing Yuvraj. In fact, we still miss him. I will definitely recommend travelers to stay at 'Vantage Point' homestay. Thank you all for reading this review till the last words.

Good and satisfied experience

A home away from home. It was a nice place to stay. The best was the food which was made by owner's mother. The rooms have mountain view. Room was very clean and hygienic.

Host is very gentle man and helped us to feel like we were with wonderful happy family.

I spent three nights in Vantage Point Homestay(30th May to 2Nd June). It's a great shelter for the tourists visiting Darjeeling,It was an amazing feeling to witness the Kanchanjanga right from my bed in the homestay ,it seems as if dream comes true. The food served were fresh and delicious.And last but not the least,the host ,Yuvraj and family were inexplicably well,we felt we were living in our own abode .I highly recommend everyone to stay at least for once if you want to visit Darjeeling.
